Regent are please to announce that marquee hire specialists, Joseph Benjamin, have continued to invest in Regent’s FloorStak product. This continued investment upgrades Joseph Benjamin’s current FloorStak system to the latest version, which features a much greater degree of angle adjustment to help cope with severely sloping and uneven surfaces. The company have already used the FloorStak system in over 40 installations, in only their first year of use.

Ben Goode, director of the company, speaking about the benefits of using the system, said, ‘FloorStak is easy to transport and gives us a quicker installation time. On an installation that would take 10 hours, FloorS

img_0816tak reduces this time down to 5 or 6 hours. The system is also beneficial in that it requires no specialist training in order to use it. However the main benefit of using the system is its ability to level floors perfectly even on severely sloping or uneven ground. This is what attracted us to the product as there is no other product on the market that offers this capability. This means we can offer a more flexible set of options to our clients, as we can now utilize plots of land that previously would have had to be virtually flat. By being professionally manufactured and tested by Regent Engineering Ltd, we know that the system is fully safe to use. Regent and Tectonics have provided a fantastic service, and we have a really good working relationship with both.’
Joseph Benjamin marquees have already established themselves as one of the premier marquee hire companies in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire area. By using FloorStak as part of their forward looking strategy, this progressive business plans to continue to expand into the rest of the South East, as well as the UK as a whole.

The Problem

Our customer had a very large contract to supply Decking Panels for Stadium surrounds and seating areas at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

The design of the Corner Connecting Cleats, whilst structurally sound, involved a complex mix of laser profiling, pressing, machining and welding.

Consequently it was expensive and time consuming to make.

one-piece pressing containing all of the functional requirements - the solution

The Solution

We designed a one-piece pressing containing all of the functional requirements, but requiring a far less complex manufacturing route.

This has resulted in over 50% cost saving, and a much shorter lead-time.
